Not Porsche's First Electric Rodeo

That is to say, Porsche has attended this major event previously. Porsche started offering hybrid electric powertrains for the Cayenne and Panamera models in 2010, and plug-in hybrid versions followed in 2014. Available In Two Electrifying Models

At launch, there will be two available options for the Macan EV. To begin with, rely on the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo. Both provide the newest PSM electric motor generation for the front and rear axles. The Macan Turbo produces an incredible 630 horsepower and 833 lb-ft of torque, while the Macan 4 delivers 402 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of power. A trip from zero to sixty miles per hour in the Macan 4 takes 4.9 seconds. At 3.1 seconds, the same run in the Macan Turbo is completed more quickly. The Macan Turbo has a high speed of 161 mph, while the Macan 4 tops out at 136 mph.

Quick Charging

Lithium-ion batteries located in the underbody of the Macan provide power for the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo. The DC charging capacity reaches 270 kW. Under ideal conditions, a fast charger can charge a battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 21 minutes. For more effective charging, one 800-volt battery is divided into two 400-volt banks thanks to innovative battery technology.
